[jira] [Commented] (DERBY-6403) Doc for export/import in ref man should mention automatic commit after operation.

Kim Haase commented on DERBY-6403:
----------------------------------

Should we also add the advice "You should issue either a COMMIT or ROLLBACK statement to complete all transactions and release all table-level locks before you invoke an import or export procedure"?

> Doc for export/import in ref man should mention automatic commit after operation.

> In the admin guide (in older releases, e.g 10.7, this section is to be found in the tools guilde) we can find this sentence in http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/10.10/adminguide/cadminimport27052.html:
> "Derby issues a COMMIT or a ROLLBACK statement after each import and export procedure is run."
> However, the documentation for the individual export/import procedures do not mention is important fact; I believe they should.
