deleting dirs

I thought that deletion of dirs with empty files was
supposed to be fixed in 1.4.1, but my build.xml is working
properly.  It deletes files and empty child dirs, but not
dirs that include empty dirs.  Any clues?

P.S. I _have_ searched the archives and read the docs.  I
am doing all that has been prescribed except for adding the
defaultExcludes="no" to <delete/>.  Am I missing something?
