Creating a Windows 10 VM in CloudStack 4.9

Dear Team,

Has anyone successfully created a windows 10 VM in cloudstack 4.9?
I am trying several methods but the VM can not boot past from the widows

Hi Jason,
I have read on some other forums too that this may cause due to the compatibility with the NICs. I will try to uninstall the NIC and try to boot and see.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Regards,

Imran

Hi Imran,
We had a problem with E1000 Nics on Vmware after we upgraded to 4.9. All our existing Windows templates using E1000 hung on boot. Swapping these to VMXNet3 solved it.

Jason
