VIRTUAL HOST - APACHE PROBLEM

I know this is the not place to ask my question but I'll ask you guys anyway....

Why is that my named-based-v-host does not get its files from the doc. root i declared?e.g. /htdocs/my_web it uses the default doc. dir which is /htdocs...

 please help
