Maine JUG presentation

Hi all,

I presented Pivot to the Maine Java User Group in Portland, ME last night. Slides are here, in case you are interested (FYI - they are very similar to the slides from the CT Java presentation I posted a couple of weeks ago):

It was not a coincidence. :-) Questions about these topics came up often during earlier presentations and discussions, and so they became a focus for Pivot 2.0.

That's good to hear.

Be sure to add any recurring ideas/questions/suggestions into JIRA if
appropriate, or post them on the mailing lists so that we can all get an
idea of how things are shaping up.

It sounds like the topics you listed are ones that you have raised at some
point or other on the mailing lists anyhow - whether that is as a direct
result of your presentations or because you are psychic and foresaw them, I
don't know!

Ha. Yes, probably. :-)

The room was full and the crowd had a lot of great questions. Overall, the interest level seemed very good. There was a lot of discussion about web queries, Swing integration/migration, data binding, styling, and packaging/deployment, among other things.

Greg,

How are your presentations going? I imagine you are getting pretty slick by
now and can do them in your sleep
.
Are you seeing interest and awareness growing?
Have any good suggestions come up in the Q&A sessions?

Regards,

Chris
