Graduation?
Hey, friends,
I know I’m the newbie here, so forgive if this has been asked a million times… what’s preventing us from graduating? Are there tasks remaining?

AW: Graduation?
Posted by Christofer Dutz <ch...@c-ware.de>.
Hi Rich,
formally we DISCUSS if we think we are fit for graduation. If the project decides we are, we need to ensure at least the “graduation checks” from the Incubator are green (Otherwise we’ll just get smacked by the IPMC).
Then the project does a vote and brings that to the Incubator general list … if there’s consent there, we add a graduation resolution (which is almost automated with Whimsy magic ;-) )
I also think graduation or retirement, but that there’s more benefit to graduate as we not only provide a place to publish training material, but also to provide tools for preparing presentations.

It occurs to me that I have not the vaguest idea of what the process is to move from where we are, to graduation. I would appreciate it if one or two of you could nudge me towards the right form I have to fill out, email I have to send, or other crank I have to turn. Let’s get this project graduated. We have nothing further to gain from the Incubator.

Well, after spending most of October working on this, I ended up spending November elsewhere. Hopefully will get back to it soon. :)

I'd be happy to support it and I'll try to continue reviewing and
merging PRs whenever I can.
The project is definitely more active now than it has been in a long
while thanks to both of your recent activity.

Hehe,
I guess retirement has been brought up more often.
But I agree. Training is a bit of an odd project, compared with the others. But I also don't think there's much for us to learn in the incubator.
So if the board has no issues with our "oddness" lets aim for going TLP :-)
