Christopher Tubbs resolved ACCUMULO-2878.
-----------------------------------------
Resolution: Not A Problem
Metrics have been reworked in 1.10 and 2.x. This is probably OBE now. If this is still an issue, please open a new issue or pull request at https://github.com/apache/accumulo/issues

> Key: ACCUMULO-2878

> Project: Accumulo

> Components: master

> Priority: Major
>
> We don't presently have any JMX metrics coming out of the master aside from very low-level statistics on the raw thrift calls.
> The master has loads of really useful high-level information that we would want to track like, alive-tservers/total-tservers, active migrations, offlne tablets, assigned but offline tablets, etc. It could also serve as the centralized view point for "system wide" insight like FATE ops so that each tserver in a system doesn't report information on those.
