Réf. : Re: Réf. : Re: Réf. : Re: Build failed in Jenkins: Openmeetings #24

I tested the first time with this command : "ant -Ddb=postgres" and "ant
-Ddb=postgres prepare-eclipse" too but always the same with OM #24.
I'll test now with Derby.
Last time there is any problem with my postgresql db and tables are filled
with data.

Is there any problem with : "ImageMagick-6.6.4" ? Before it works perfectly
with OM 1.9.1.
I need to upgrade my ImageMagick version ?

And again ... to debug your mail server auth problem or whatever error you
should log at your LOGFILE :)))

Hi Hamdi,

you can find all mail server related settings in:
Administration > Configuration

or during the installation in the web-installer.
You just need to make sure that everytime you change the config in
OpenMeetings you need to restart the Red5/OpenMeetings server as the mail
config is additionally stored somewhere in the Java Session.

For how to set up a mail server please visit the mailing list of of the
Mail Server software that you're using.

Thanks

SMTP installation on localhost ? need tutorial

Posted by Hamdi THABET <ha...@gmail.com>.
Can someone help me with the SMTP configuration ?
I followed this tutorial about mercury under Xampp : http://www.youtube
com/watch?v=zO2p3uX9poY and I used OpenDNS
And I also test with the smtp.googlemail.com but I can't receive mails from
my localhost server.

I can't install the nullmailer under my Win7 x64
http://www.download32.com/nullmailer-d78657.html

And I didn't find any documentation about SMTP installation and
configuration, in different issues they are talking about fixing
MailHandler.java".

http://groups.google
com/group/openmeetings-user/browse_thread/thread/3da37c7bc0780c93

Sebastian :
it can send also without authentification if you set user/pass to an empty
string there will be no auth. That is the usual configuration to send it
via localhost.

I have been successfully tested the import of the JPG that you provided
with the latest revision in the dashboard.

Please carefully review your process of upload the document and eventually
re-post up-to-date logs of a reproducable use-case.

Thanks,
Sebastian

Afaik imagemagic ptoblems may affect later stages of runtime only.
Openmeetings works perfectly without imagemagick

It would be wise not to rush building code befoe you are not able to run a
prebuilt version. Have you sicceed using a pre-built release?

Where did you upload the pictures to? In the dashboard or in usersettings >
edit profile ?

*I need to upgrade my ImageMagick version ?*
=> No you don't

We won't be able to help you with your problems based on descriptions like:
"Is there any problem with : "ImageMagick-6.6.4" ? Before it works
perfectly with OM 1.9.1."
=> What is the problem exactly about ? We need something that we can
reproduce in order to help anybody. What are the exact steps that are
needed to be done to reproduce your problem ? And additionally we nneed to
have the corresponding output. => So what does the error/openmeetings/red5
log-file look like ?

Thanks
Sebastian
