I suggest we position repository as part of the Discovery suite - in 
effect the current repository implementation is the client side cache of 
the discovery system.

Hi Aaron,

it's looking pretty nice!

But I think it's not the right abstraction for the front page.

I think what we need at the front page is:

1) a statement what Avalon is about, which clearly states the benefits
of the whole project = USP (unique selling point)
2) how Avalon is organized
3) Getting started
4) what's new in Avalon

My very short proposals here:

ad 1) Avalon is a development environment which causes a breakthrough in
application development efficiency
ad 2) container (Merlin), components (planet), tools (Studio, Magic
etc.) and repository (we need a name here) = Avalon
ad 3) how to get a running Avalon application in 5 minutes

What I could see on the front page is a picture of that project
organization.

Your picture could than fit into the container area as a "teaser".
