deploy problem on tomcat 4.1.24

i deployed my own application called campus.i made an entry of context by 
defining minimum attributes ie path,debug and docBase in the srever.xml. But i 
am not able to call my servlets and class files from web-inf/classes folder.on 
calling servlets system shows resource not available status 404. i have mapped 
my servlets in web.xml file.still i am not able to acsess servlets and classes 
in packages. In the classpath i have just added the servlet.jar.
