i noticed that you filed an enhancement bug for oo integration. are you 
aware of the existing stuff in import.xmap? it is a proof of concept and 
could use some documentation, etc.

on the other hand, the best way to take this forward is probably to 
integrate the oo plugin from forrest once thorsten shows us how to it.
