1.0.1 was placed in httpd/dist alongside 1.0.0 the same day it was
built but not pushed to the main server and not announced. Since then
people have been applying various of the published dist/patches in an
adhoc manner to 1.0.0 (Scoreboard race etc) and have met with much
success. 1.0.1's content seems like a good fix for the process
problems people were experiencing. As of Jan.1 there were 85 or so
1.0.1 sites out there, probably more now.

In the meantime CVS has been crawling its way up the beach and should
be about to take its first gulp of oxygen about next Wednesday.

To be frank. I passed the point where the amount of energy I was
expending whining (this email excluded) exceeded the benefit to me in
getting 1.0.1 out the door officially.

If someone wants to cut it loose and announce it then it's sharpened,
polished, wrapped and all ready to go.

Oh, nice to see you back. I hope you don't miss the rain too much.

Ay.
