    * Martin Kraemer's [PATCH] Parsing URI into its components
	This has "evolved" into a new module: util_uri. Martin
	will post when it's at a state where he's happy with it.

Needs patch:

    * Gemini port (SCO + UnixWare)
	see <Pi...@twinlark.arctic.org>

    * AIX >= 4.2 could use -DNET_SIZE_T=size_t
	Note: Handled by Dean's Break Everything Patch

Open issues:

    * Apache Win32 v1.3b2 won't serve >16k

    * Should we just use HSregex all the time?
	Votes: Dean +1, Martin +1, Jim +1 (reserved)

    * Under AIX, it looks like we need to substitute bcopy for
	memmove. ?Does bcopy handle overlaps?
	Status: Handled in Dean's Break Everything Patch

    * tarball issues:
       o Remove .Z files? Dean says yes, others don't really care
       o md5 or pgp or some combo of both?

    * Lars Eilebrecht suggests removing HAVE_SYSLOG for Ultrix 4.4
	1.3b3-dev won't compile with it 'cause syslog on Ultrix is weird.

    * According to Brian Havard <br...@kheldar.apana.org.au>,
	it's not possible to compile for OS/2 with the current
	source tree

    * The PR#918 patch above appears to have been bogus, should be fixed or
	reversed. It has been reversed for now.

    * Martin's SEGV, and Alexei's GP Fault under windows (probably the same)

    * make install issues
	Note: Sameer's [PATCH] pathnames is a start...

    * FLOCK mutex problems under FreeBSD and others

    * Marc's [BUG] include virtual and SCRIPT_NAME w/path_info

Yup, and this will be true until at least early next week. I sent
e-mail to the person who appears to be responsible for letting me work
on this stuff a couple of days ago, but he was on vacation this whole
week. Assuming he has the authority to give me the waiver, I *hope* to
hear something early next week. Arrrrgh.

Please don't hold off any beta releases based on this. The code
movement really wasn't that much work, and someone else could probably
redo this work pretty quickly.

I gotta go with martin's suggesting of fixing aplog_error to add extra
logging information on an add-needed basis, rather than changing what
"snprintf" really is.  So, -1?

Remember he said hold on due to copyright issues with IBM...

I like it, but it feels feature-itis-y - perhaps for /contrib?

Paul's not been wrong on Win32 stuff, so I give this a +1.

If I could be convinced that for those platforms with a perfectly
functional regex implementation, this won't add much overhead, then I'll
repeal my sentiments towards -1....
