[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-13997) Ambari force-writing usernames to be lowercase in DB

Myroslav Papirkovskyy created AMBARI-13997:
----------------------------------------------

Summary: Ambari force-writing usernames to be lowercase in DB
                 Key: AMBARI-13997
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13997
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: ambari-server
    Affects Versions: 2.1.0
            Reporter: Myroslav Papirkovskyy
            Assignee: Myroslav Papirkovskyy
            Priority: Critical
             Fix For: 2.1.3

Ambari should preserve case of user name. Currently it is converted to lower case when stored to DB.
Due to API limitation this also means that login is now case sensitive.
Ambari will still restrict creating users with same name but different case.
