workflow/proj mgmt apps...
hi...
does anyone know of any good 'open source' workflow/proj mgmt apps for
software development using multiple developers, that allow the users to have
different roles for the given files/projects...
i need something that allows me to assign roles to different users on a per
project/file basis, that permits me to restrict access to the various users
of the various files. i want to be able to 'track' the progress of a given
proj/file as it goes from conception to production, and of the users who
touch the file....
i'd also like to be able to build/test within the same environment if
possible...
has anyone found a tool/app that can handle all of this...
thanks

I don't know of anything Subversion based (I'd be interested though),
but Enhydra Shark has some software which I have only taken for a test
run, it seemed OK.
For workflow process modelling, there is JaWE. There is also a test JSP
based web client included with it, and some corba demonstration stuff.
Cheers,
Dave.

You might look at Aegis, which would seem to have all that
functionality. The learning curve is a bit steep.
