[jira] Created: (JDO-601) API2.MF is erroneously included in the jar file

API2.MF is erroneously included in the jar file
-----------------------------------------------

                 Key: JDO-601
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-601
             Project: JDO
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Michelle Caisse
            Assignee: Michelle Caisse
            Priority: Minor

Andy reported this problem on the jdo-user alias on 23 July 2008:

why does jdo2.jar include the file "API2.MF" ? Yes this file should be put
into the jar as the MANIFEST.MF but *not* also included in its own right.
There's a block in project.xml that includes it - I suggest that needs
removing.

He checked in a fix for trunk api2 and api2-legacy with revision 679353.

The fix needs to be merged to the 2.1.1 branch for inclusion in a bug-fix release.
