Next release of Pulsar 1.20
All,
I am proposing that we target the next release for Sep 15. These are the
main feature additions that are completed/progressing for completion for
the next release.
Dispatch side throttling
End-to-end message encryption
Event-time & SequenceId for messages
C++ client support for Reader API
Let me know if this date seems unreasonable.
Cheers.
Joe

We are finishing up the review/test issues. We should be done by 15th,
Friday. We could start the release process on Monday.

There are still PRs pending. I would like to start the release process by
EOD today, so please try to get this done. Most of these PR's don't need a
lot of work remaining to merge them.

I have addressed most comments in encryption PR. Should be done with
testing before Monday. Tue/Wed is ok as well.

I'll be the first in asking for an extension :)
I have a couple of changes for the deduplication that I'm preparing to send
out. I should have everything complete by early next week.
What about considering the cutoff for next week on Tue/Wed ?

All,
We are getting close to the next release date
When we discussed this release few weeks ago, Matteo had a suggestion
that merged
around ~1 week before the release to avoid last minute run arounds.
That would be tomorrow :-)
So how good we are on this? Do we need to make adjustments?
Dispatch side throttling
End-to-end message encryption
Event-time & SequenceId for messages
C++ client support for Reader API
