Problem using Slide with MS WebFolders

I have a WebFolder connected to my Slide server.  I can browse it and view
files.  When I try to drag a new file into the WebFolder, it sends a HEAD
request to Slide.  On Slide's side the HeadMethod is an extension to the
GetMethod.  The GetMethod fails to execute because the resource doesn't
exist, and the operation fails.

How is this supposed to work?  How do folks use WebFolder clients to upload
files to Slide?
