MR2 and local disk failures
Hey guys,
Looks like MR2 doesn't have the local disk failure improvements in 203
(MR-2413, MR-2415, etc). Is someone working on that?
Thanks,
Eli

Hey Keren,
Everything being worked on should be communicated via a jira. Also,
you can ping the dev list if you have a question whether something is
being worked on.
Thanks,
Eli

Hello Eli,
How do I check whether someone already works on an issue, and the issue is
not opened in JIRA. In particular, I have some suggestions about *map
task*scheduling for Hadoop.
Thanks,
Keren

I'll check to make sure, but nothing else pops out.
We decided to punt on graylisting for now also.

Arun,
Do we have a list of features that are in 0.20.2XX but not currently in MR2
besides this?

It's in the works, but lower priority for now. The focus is on scaling & performance currently. It should be easier to add prior to a final cut after the rest of the important features/fixes go in.
thanks,
Arun
