[users@httpd] Apache 2.043 and PHP 4.2.3/Dev under WIN32

Hi All,

I installed Apache 2.043 (the most recent stable version for WIN32), and
PHP 4.2.3 and also tried the 4.2.3/Dev version.
After installing the Apache, everything was OK, and then I wanted to add
PHP to it and I found out that PHP and Apache 2 are still in BETA
stages.
I know that some people already running the PHP 4.2.3 (from some forums
on the net), but I couldn't find HOWTO do so.

Thank you all,

Jeff Cohen

OK, thank you Chris, that's first of all.
I did what Chris told me to, and I downloaded the latest stable version
from the website he gave me.
But I still found that there's a problem.. when loading the service I
got a response:
"Could not find the specific module."
I found out the link in the httpd.conf file was ok, but somehow, the
Apache was looking in c:/apache/php/ and not
c:/apache/php/sapi/php4apache2.dll.
So, what I did is that I copied the php4apache from the sapi folder to
the root of the php (c:/apache/php).
And it worked!!! After I made that "tests" server to run, I upgraded 3
other servers that I own.

Thank you again and Marry-Xmas,
Jeff Cohen

Known prob w/ Apache 2.0.43 I believe, have a look at snaps.php.net,
grab the latest binary and it should work fine :)
