[DISCUSS] Migrating project website content to markdown
Folks
I think our project web site is likely to be the second lamest web site
in existence (*). It is outright awful.
Does anyone have any conceptual / philosophical / ideological objections
to the idea of migrating off XML/APT and Maven as a tool to generate web
content to Markdown and jekyll (or some other tool)?

I do not have any objection but a less dramatic step might be at use a
modern skin. See the Log4j 2 web site or a recent Apache Commons component
site.
