[jira] [Closed] (GUACAMOLE-875) guacd unstable - buffer overflow

Nick Couchman closed GUACAMOLE-875.
-----------------------------------
    Resolution: Invalid

First, please start these conversations on the mailing list. If it is determined that there is an issue, we can reopen this JIRA issue.

http://guacamole.apache.org/support/

Second, the stack trace you provided actually doesn't specify any Guacamole components as the cause of the crash - it has libc (glibc) and FreeRDP. Thus, it is more likely in this case that the issue is a bug in one of those two components that happens to impact guacd connections because guacd uses FreeRDP (which uses glibc).

> We observe some instability with the latest version of guacd (compiled from master) on centos7. Multiple errors regarding TLS as following that grow over time and causing that new sessions cannot be initiated. Existing sessions are stable.
> `Error: protocol security negotiation failure`
> Also observed stack trace as attached.
