Tapestry 5.3.4-rc-2
I've been working on some performance improvements for Tapestry;
primarily, it is replacing the use of the synchronized keyword with
ReentrantReadWriteLock on a few hotspots identified by Robert Lentz.
He's already seen a near doubling of throughput in his load testing
environment, and I've just pushed a further update, 5.3.4-rc-2, with
additional improvements related to Resources.
More details here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAP5-1929
I would appreciate it if people would test out these changes by
switching their dependency to version 5.3.4-rc-2, and updating their
pom.xml/build.xml to search the Apache Staging repository at
https://repository.apache.org/content/groups/staging
Please give it a whirl and report back!
