Patch pipeline guidelines - getting things working

A note on the patch pipeline, trying to make it work as intended.
These rules reflect the decision taken on the list on submitting patches.
If any committer doesn't agree on these guidelines, please -1 on it.
Otherwise these will stand.

1- Committers: please mark the patch as fixed when applied. Please do not
notify patch applications in any other way, so to enable proper tracking.
2- Committers: please change the assigned-to field when taking charge of the
patch, for reference and to avoid two committers checking the same thing.
3- Everyone: please do not use the patch queue mail to Re: on any matter;
create another thread instead.
4- Submitters: please use bugzilla for patches, putting [PATCH] at the start
of the subject; patches submitted in other ways should not IMHO be
processed, but will anyway not be included in the patch queue summary.

Hope it makes sense. :-?

Ken,

'Barozzi')

ciao
