I would recommend not to create developer guide for Sqoop 2 first cut. Everything is likely to be changed so I do not want to encourage other people to start creating additional connectors when they will most likely need to do nontrivial changes in next releases. I'm closing this JIRA as "Won't fix" for now, but please feel free to reopen if needed.
