[users@httpd] Disabling the World to view Images from URL directly

Hello,

I want to restrict the world from accessing the Images from the URL
directly. i.e http://mydomain.com/fold/img1.jpg this image should not be
displayed in the Brower but It should be accessible from a page within ?

I have search for google but it didn;t put me on the way I want. I used
<Directory> & <Files> tag but don't know much abt restricting the above one.

Right now i have used .htaccess which prompts for Authentication but i don't
want to use it any more.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Regards,
Tina
