Data with limited viewing in Edit Window

In the case where a large amount of data is stored in an OOO.org 3.3 Calc cell,
the information is viewable in the cell under F2(Edit), but not all of the
information is viewable in the "what I call the edit window" near the menu bar.
If you scroll from the back of the data toward the front of the data, then you
reach a point where the data in the upper edit window goes blank. If this is
unclear you can contact me at g@postone.net. Thanks much, Greg PS I have
attached the data I had in the cell when this event occurred. The name of the
attached file is calc_but.txt.
