Good day from Singapore,

I have been told Apache Karaf is superseding Apache ServiceMix. Apache
ServiceMix is becoming redundant.

Is this correct?

Hi,

That's correct. ServiceMix runtime is not maintained anymore and
replaced directly by Karaf.

You can take a look on website for details: https://karaf.apache.org,
especially the documentation and example.
