[jira] [Created] (TS-1638) less strict on kernel version checking in clustering

Zhao Yongming created TS-1638:
---------------------------------

Summary: less strict on kernel version checking in clustering
                 Key: TS-1638
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-1638
             Project: Traffic Server
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Clustering
            Reporter: Zhao Yongming

we should do less strict checking on kernel version as it will be impossible to do a kernel upgrade without bring down the whole system.

for kernel as 3.6.10-gentoo-zym

strict to 3.6 is enough in most case.

and print a message is fine.
