[Vote] Publish 'benchmark' library?

I haven't heard any more comments about 'benchmark'. It's been in CVS for
a while, so I figured I'd call a vote to publish it to the site.

Thanks, Glenn. I just updated it on both counts: new build process, and
new intro.xml. (I also cleaned up the documentation a bit.)

At a minimum benchmark would need an xml/intro.xml file so that it can
published to the jakarta.apache.org/taglibs web site. Once that is in
place I am +1 for publishing it to the site.

And it would be nice if it were converted over to the new build.

Glenn

The documents at http://jakarta/apache.org/taglibs/
under the Documentation menu heading should give you most
of the information you need about the build, tag design
issues, and coding standards.

Just do an anonymous checkout of jakarta-taglibs from CVS
or download the latest source distribution.

The following document has general info on how to get involved:
http://jakarta.apache.org/site/getinvolved.html

Glenn

I had posted EXACTLY such a tag to this list a while
back. Look in the archives.

Proposal of new datetime tag: Calendar

Posted by Matthias Bohlen <mb...@mbohlen.de>.
Hi,

I am planning to develop a new tag for the datetime taglib. Should look like
this:

<dt:calendar month="7" year="2001"/>

expanded as an HTML table:

        Juli 2001
Mo Di Mi Do Fr Sa So KW
                   1 26
 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 27
 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 28
16 17 18 19 20 21 22 29
23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30
30 31 31

Is there anything I should know before I start? As I am new to the project,
I'd like to know about the build processes, at least. I'll send the source
file(s) to some of the experts for CVS check-in.

Matthias
