[jira] Commented: (WW-2137) struts 2 checkbox tag renders table tags contrary to what docs say

Thanks! Docs should have this information in it as well. Themes seem like an advanced topic, all I'm trying to do is render a table of checkboxes and it's not working as described, no mention of "themes" ...

> I'm trying to use <s:checkbox/> in a table cell and running into the following problem.
> Docs say <s:checkbox/> tag will render like (from docs):
> <input type="checkbox" name="checkboxField1" value="true" checked="checked" />
> in reality it renders like (from my app):
> <tr>
> <td valign="top" align="right">
> </td>
> <td valign="top" align="left">
> <input type="checkbox" name="selectedStudents" value="true" id="studentListForm_selectedStudents"/>
> <input type="hidden" name="__checkbox_selectedStudents" value="true" /> </td>
> </tr>
> this adds an extra row to my table which I didn't intend to be there, only recourse is not to use struts2 checkbox tag.
