The basic fix is to depend on the j2ee-deployer car and remove a lot of unneeded dependencies.
I might have removed too many: I commented out the ones I wasn't entirely sure of to make restoring easier in case problems show up later.

to test the patch -
1) start the server
2) log into the console
3) deploy new
4) choose any deployable jar file (i was using modules/j2ee-builder/target/test-ear14/test-ejb-jar.jar)
if you get an error about the DefaultDatasource not found the patch worked
if you get a stack trace on the console with a ClassNotFoundException the patch did not work

The patch isn't a very good solution to the problem, it results in duplicated classes. I'm not quite sure how the console works at the moment with its dependencies as they are.... I'm working on cleaning them up a bit. Basically a better fix is to include the j2ee-deployer car as a dependency, and remove a lot of stuff it pulls in.
