When I follow the same steps as Comment 14, I get the same behavior.

When I follow the same steps as Comment 14, but in MS Word (Version 16), the
behavior is different. The tab key causes the text to move to the right in the
usual way.

Also, I am reviewing this with Prakrut (Comment 14) at this time. His
configuration information is:
AOO version 4.1.1
Windows 10
