   We also wanted to use the slow start feature on our production environment before, but this feature is not provided by the open source version of nginx, but by the nginx plus version, so apisix obviously won't support it. 
   
   Later we used the EWMA load balancing algorithm in our production environment, which can also achieve similar results as the slow start feature, so you can try it out.
