[jira] Resolved: (AXIS2-1070) Codegen & Service Archiver Eclipse plugins fail to load in Eclipse.

Lahiru Sandakith resolved AXIS2-1070.
-------------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: 1.1
       Resolution: Fixed

This problem seems to be causing of eclipse caching the previous versions of the plugin.
Closing eclipse and deleting the existing plugin and start eclipse and reinstalling
the plugin can solve this problem.

To inform the user how to uninstall and install the new version of the plugin a readme.txt
now shipped with the plugins now. Check the latest nightly builds.

If you have the Axis2 source with you you can build and install the plugins by using
the ant build file create-project.xml located at the module/tool directory. Please follow the readme.txt
at the same location.

> The distributables for the Axis2 plugins do not load within Eclipse 3.2, and possibly other versions.
> I believe the problem is related to the naming convention used for the subfolder within the "plugins" folder of the zip. For example, the Service Archiver distributable contains the path "plugins/Axis_Service_Archiver_1.0.0". As is, Eclipse does not recognize this.
> BUT, if I change the name of the folder (after unpacking) to "org.apache.axis2_servicearchiver_1.0" and restart Eclipse it shows up.
> The exact same thing applies to the Codegen plugin.
