Phoenix vs CockroachDB

I recently came across CockroachDB[0] which is a distributed SQL 
database. Operationally, it is easy to run and adding a new node to the 
cluster is really simple as well. I believe it is targeted towards OLTP 
workloads.

Has anyone else had a look at CockroachDB? How does it compare with 
Phoenix + HBase?
