Re: Integrate jenkins to Apache-rya incuabator.

Sean,

Were you able to add Puja and me to the Apache Jenkins server? I logged
into Jenkins and I don't see the "New Item" button.

Here are user names:

Aaron Mihalik (mihalik)
Puja Valiyil (pujav65)

Apologies! I was waiting for a 72hr timeout on my request to the chair
of the IPMC and then lost track of the task. I'll get this taken care
of this evening.

Sean,

Could you please add me to the Jenkins server, so I can better help Amila
in his task for GSoC?

(ugh, sorry for the rapid-fire)

Also just restricted where your job will run. The "ubuntu" nodes are
pretty good (sans the "cloud-slaves"). Some of the nodes in the general
pool will cause more headache than anything else.

You had "Developers" listed and not "Recipient List" in the email

 From your console output:

"No emails were triggered."

https://builds.apache.org/job/incubator-rya-develop/6/console

Looks to me like your job isn't configured to mail.

Thanks Josh. I'm a bit confused, though. We have had two "unstable"
builds today and no notifications. Also, I tried to post to
notifications@rya.incubator.apache.org and that didn't go through.

Do we need to ping someone to open up notifications@rya.incubator.apache.org
?

Yeah, there's some shenanigans you can do to allow posts from an address
that isn't subscribed. I'll have to find the instructions again, though.
I don't recall what they were anymore.

Thanks Sean. I added a build for develop [1] and it's uploading Rya
artifacts to the Apache repo [2].

I also configured Jenkins to send notifications@rya (both through the
Jenkins configure page and by sending an email to [3]. But I haven't seen
any emails on notifications@rya. Does someone need to approve Jenkins
subscribe?

Please be sure you both read the jenkins guidelines:

http://wiki.apache.org/general/Jenkins

in particular, the mandatory job settings and the need to subscribe to
infrastructure@apache and builds@apache.
