Apache 2.039 and Rotatelogs

Hello,

we are using Suse Linux 7.3 and Apache 2.0.39 with mod_ssl, mod_proxy
and mod_rewrite.
Apache works fine without using rotatelogs. If we use rotatelogs
Apache always starts a lot of httpd processes and hangs up reaching the
maximum number of clients. In the server-status I  can see a lot of
connections reading requests which will never be terminated.

The following message appears in the error-log for a few times:
[warning] .... child process did not exit sending a sigterm

What is the problem with rotatelogs and Apache 2.0.39 ??

Before updating to version 2.0.39 we used Apache 1.3. There wer no
problems using rotatelogs.

Hi Ben.
Yup.. Same syntax as you would in the main server config.
