Problem building wssec11 example on CXF 2.2.3

Hello!
I can't get the ws-security 1.1 interopfest sample to build correctly under
CXF v2.2.3:

cd samples/ws_security/interopfest/wssec11
mvn -Pclient
.
.
.
[ERROR] BUILD ERROR
[INFO]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[INFO] Thrown by JAXB : undefined element declaration 'xs:schema'


wssec10 works without any problem.
wssec11 works as well for me on the older CXF v2.2.

Any ideas?
