[Issue 125657] New: Creating form not using the designer produces a text document, not a database form

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125657

          Issue ID: 125657
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Creating form not using the designer produces a text
                    document, not a database form
           Product: Base
           Version: 4.1.0
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 8
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: code
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: stephencadams@hotmail.com

Creating a form without using the form designer does not offer the same design
options. The output is a word processing document with inserted database fields
which are read only. It cannot be used to create a database form for database
entry as the controls are not available.

A database form is always a text document embedded into the database document.
If you want to edit a database form you have to use the command "Edit" for the
selected form in the database document. An opened database form is always
readonly and cannot be changed.
