Symptoms:

When going thru a Trusted Information System 
firewall, running http-gw version p1.4/1
the mime-types does not seem to work when using 
ftp.(I assume that any firewall will display 
this problem) 

I have "ProxyRequests on" and 
"ProxyRemote * http://out.esrf.fr" (out is
our firewall seen from inside). 

When seeing a .tar.gz I need to click on 
"Save Link As"in my Gold 3.01 Netscape browser 
when doing ftp otherwise it will display the 
tar.gz file in the browserwindow

Using http:// thru the firewall it uses my
mime-types, and all works OK
