[jira] [Created] (OAK-1273) Reduce overhead when handling many parallel property indices

Jukka Zitting created OAK-1273:
----------------------------------

Summary: Reduce overhead when handling many parallel property indices
                 Key: OAK-1273
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1273
             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: core
            Reporter: Jukka Zitting

Having many parallel property index definitions (we have ~30 for CQ) adds some extra overhead for small commits (~40% in {{SetPropertyTest}}) even if none of those updates need to be changed.

Much of that overhead can be avoided with simple optimizations in the way index definitions are looked up and tracked.
