[jira] Updated: (TUSCANY-1064) WSDL2Java tool doesn't have an option to generate Java non-wrapper style interface using dynamic SDO (commonj.sdo.DataObject)

Jean-Sebastien Delfino updated TUSCANY-1064:
--------------------------------------------

      Priority: Minor (was: Major)
    Patch Info: [Patch Available]

If this is about allowing an app developer to use the SDO dynamic API on the parameters of a service method, then it is already possible to use the dynamic SDO APIs on the static SDOs generated by the current WSDL2Java and XSD2Java tools and this issue should be closed as invalid.

If this is about generating SDO wrappers representing the XSD wrapper elements used in doc-literal-wrapped style then the solution proposed here is incomplete to the point that it cannot work as-is. Supporting that particular type of interface will require serious other changes to the Tuscany databinding and interface matching algorithms and this issue should be closed for now with status "later" and re-opened when the complete story (not just the generation part, but also how the runtime is going to run with the generated code) is fleshed out.

I am going to mark it resolved "later" for now, expecting people to provide more input and a proposal addressing the complete end to end story later.

> As a developer using SCA and SDO for databinding, I would expect wsdl2java tool provide an option for me to use dynamic SDO. Thanks.
