In the JobTracker webui, for successful jobs, I sometimes see inconsistency in the count of the number of various task types whenever some speculative tasks (esp. maps) are executed. So for example, if the job has 1000 maps, I'd expect that on a successful job run, the count of the number of pending map tasks to be 0. But sometimes, when there are speculative tasks, the pending count is greater than 0, and the completed tasks count is less than the number of the total tasks that the job originally had.
