[jira] [Closed] (FLINK-20530) Invalid metric named
`lastCheckpointExternalPath`
Chesnay Schepler closed FLINK-20530.
------------------------------------
Resolution: Not A Problem
It's not invalid. The gauge metric allows any type to be exposed, and the support is naturally supported by the actual backends.
Note that there is FLINK-6053 to change this and limit gauges to numbers, but this will have to wait until 2.0 .
