WIN9XCONHOOK.DLL not found
Summary: WIN9XCONHOOK.DLL not found
Product: Apache httpd-1.3
Version: 1.3.28
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows 9x
Status: NEW
Severity: Blocker
Priority: Other
Component: core
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: mops@students.zcu.cz
Hello.
I have just installed Apache 1.3.28 on my Win98 (from the MSI binary on
httpd.apache.org).
When I try to start apache I get only a message window telling me that the
library WIN9XCONHOOK.DLL was not found.
I have found that there is file WIN9XC~1.DLL in the apache directory.
When I have renamed this file to WIN9XCONHOOK.DLL, apache server started
without error. I think there is some problem with long file name in
installation process.
It seems that the only problem was that short filename.
