[jira] [Updated] (BEAM-12862) Implement Go SDK-side initialization
of Java/Python expansion services.
Daniel Oliveira updated BEAM-12862:
-----------------------------------
Description:
This feature allows users to run cross-language transforms without manually starting an expansion service beforehand. If no expansion service is running, the SDK will default to starting up a predetermined expansion service.
This behavior already exists in Java and Python, which might be a useful reference point.
Note: It may be preferable to implement this after cross-language override registration is implemented. That feature will allow registering alternate behavior for expanding cross-language transforms, which is a good place to slot in a default behavior for when no expansion address is provided.
