https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=69941

            Bug ID: 69941
Summary: mod_dbd flood apache logs with MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT
                    warnings
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.4.58
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_dbd
          Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
          Reporter: yoch.melka@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I using mod_dbd and my log was totally flooded with the lines :
WARNING: MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT is deprecated and will be removed in a future
version.

I can workaround this issue by setting DBDPersist to "Off", but not sure it'a a
good idea (the doc states that it's not :
https://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/mod_dbd.html#dbdpersist)

OS version: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
Apache version: 2.4.58
MySQL version : 8.0.44

Thank you
