struts vs waf Framework (blueprint)

Hi,

Today i add to update a web application, that use Waf framework from sun.

I didn't write the third version.

For the moment i'm writing the 3.1 version but in a few months i'll have to make the 4.0.

I want to upgrade it (to the 4.0) in using Struts even if i have do rewrite all the source. 

My questions are
- Is it a good idea if someone has the both experience please tell me ?
- Are fop, xml, xsl, well integrated ?
- I use also HSQLDB, is there a problem in using it with struts ?
- I use also lucene, is there a problem in using it with struts ?

For the moment i didn't succeed in launching a simple application, due to "Action Bean error" !!
I hope i will find a solution.
