Some users have expressed the desire to be able to use Usergrid but obfuscate the query parameters that are passed in via the API.  This could be achieved with the concept of the a view, demonstrated with the following UI path: /app/collection/_views/myView where a developer can define views they want to expose on their data.  

Views should also be able to be filtered with QL, however, QL on a view should not supercede the QL already defined on the view for security concerns.
